A 25-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning on the North Side of San Antonio. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 19200 block of Hardy Oak Boulevard, when the motorcyclist failed to navigate a curve and crashed into a stone pillar, as reported by KSAT.

A man was riding a black 2024 Yamaha YZF motorcycle southbound when he hit the raised center median and collided with a stone pillar. The impact was severe, and the motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the San Antonio Police Department and San Antonio Express-News.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated, and more details will be shared later. The San Antonio Police Department has not said anything about what may have caused the motorcyclist to lose control. The police have not announced any plans to improve motorcycle safety after the accident, as stated by KSAT.
