
FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation revealed the results of 95 violations during the time of the operation.
An announcement was made that on May 3rd that a 10-hour operation to increase traffic patrols would occur.
In those 10 hours, Fresno PD was able to cite 95 different drivers and motorcycle riders for a variety of violations.
Speeding was the biggest factor in the citations, with 78 being speeding tickets.
4 drivers got a ticket for driving without a license or with a suspended license.
Another 7 drivers received tickets, either for a mechanical issue with the vehicle or a moving violation.
Luckily, the 4 drivers that were cited for reckless driving and the 2 for DUI did not lead to any accidents.
