Thank you for your informative article on e-bikes. I live in Lakeview Trails North at Morrison Ranch. I have a suggestion that might educate the purchasers of E-bikes and reduce the needs for police officers to some of the education.
I believe when a person purchases a motorcycle that that person show proof of an education class on motorcycle safety and rules and how to handle the motorcycle. Why not have the same education class and safety rules for people who purchase an e-bike? I also believe that some responsibility for informing the purchaser should fall to the business that sells the e-bikes.
I assume the state is responsible for developing the e-bike safety class. Thank you for the opportunity to present these ideas.
