ATTLEBORO (WBSM) — An 18-year-old man was hospitalized following a serious crash in Attleboro this morning involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle.

Emergency Crews Respond to Pleasant Street Crash

According to Attleboro Fire Chief Scott Lachance, crews responded at 6:51 a.m. to the area of 165 Pleasant Street for a reported motorcycle crash.

Teen Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries

They arrived to find a motorcycle in the roadway with significant damage. There was also an SUV on the scene with moderate damage.

Members of the fire department began advanced life support care for the 18-year-old motorcycle operator, who Lachance said sustained significant injuries. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for further treatment.

His name was not released.

Police Continue Crash Investigation

The crash remains under investigation by Attleboro Police.
