May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month and the 4th Annual ‘500 For Life Ride’ is here with the goal to have 500 bikes, trikes, sling shots, and spiders to ride in unity to have voices heard and motorcycles seen.
The public is welcome to ride together to kick-off Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, Saturday, May 2.
Registration starts at 9:00 AM atCowboy Harley-Davidson and Cowboy Powersports, 1150 I-10 Access Road South in Beaumont. Kickstands up at 10:15 AM as all riders hit the road.
Bojangles will be on-site serving their world-famous Bo-Berry Biscuits, Chicken Biscuits, Sausage Biscuits, coffee, and drinks to get the morning started right.
This is a free ride, with donations welcomed for the ‘500 For Life’ Organization (501(c)(3)), dedicated to raising motorcycle safety awareness and supporting fallen riders in the Golden Triangle.
Escorted Ride Route: ‘500 For Life’ will roll out at 10:15 AM with a fully escorted ride led by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, continuing into Orange County where the Orange County Sheriff’s Department will guide us through the heart of Orange and Bridge City to one of the tallest bridges in Texas (Rainbow Bridge) where riders will be escorted into the heart of Port Arthur down Gulfway Drive by Port Arthur PD. From there the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will pick back up at Hwy 69 and Nederland Ave. and escort riders back to Cowboy Harley-Davidson.
