(St. Paul, MN)–The motorcycle season is off to a good start in Minnesota this summer. State motorcycle safety coordinator Jay Bock says they’re seeing fewer deadly crashes,” but even one is too many.

Bock say we currently have 15 fatalities in the state. Last year there were 24 fatalities at this time. He says any “fatality is a problem and I’m not encouraged by the fact that there’s been some fatalities.”

Officials say the worst months for motorcycle fatalities is July and August in Minnesota.  Caution is being urged by both motorcyclists and motorists.
