Thanks to funding from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, the Surprise Police Department is hosting a motorcycle safety class in November for current riders to practice their skills on an interactive course.
It is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23 in the Surprise Stadium parking lot, 15850 N. Bullard Ave.
The event will include motorcycle safety product information, demonstrations and discussion
This course is for current motorcycle riders and not for new riders looking to obtain a motorcycle endorsement.
Attendees must have their own motorcycle, a valid driver’s license and endorsement and a helmet to attend this class.
Applications are available at surpriseaz.gov/MotorcycleClass. Spots are limited, and selected participants will be notified prior to the class.
