The Honda Rebel line returns for 2026. The most significant change is to its smallest cruiser in the lineup, the Rebel 300. Both the Rebel 500 and Rebel 1100 return largely unchanged but with some new trims.

For the model year 2026, Honda has equipped the Rebel 300 with its E-clutch system, which automates clutch operation, allowing for clutchless riding of the motorcycle. Riders can still use the clutch lever if desired, but for some, particularly new riders, the rider aid can be an enticing option. The Rebel 300 is the company’s third powersports model to feature E-clutch technology. Honda says that the system lowers the barrier to entry for new riders while enhancing convenience for all.

2026 Rebel 300

The Rebel 300 is the smallest displacement machine in the Rebel lineup. With its unintimidating nature, low seat height, smooth, predictable power, the smallest Rebel has been an entry point for those investigating whether motorcycling is for them. As a result, the model is a popular choice for riding schools like the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic Rider Course. Now equipped with E-Clutch technology, the little Rebel is even more approachable.

The Rebel 300 is available in two colors: Matt Black Metallic and Pearl Smoky Grey. It also has an approachable price tag with an MSRP of $5,349. Look for the 2026 model year machines to arrive in Honda dealerships in December.

2026 Rebel 500

According to Honda, the Rebel 500 is the industry’s best-selling cruiser. It also serves as an entry point into Honda motorcycles for those just starting to ride, those stepping up from a smaller machine, or people looking for an affordable cruiser to get around town. The Rebel 500 comes in a standard version and an SE trim level version with select factory-installed accessories.

2026 Rebel 1100

The largest model in Honda’s Rebel series is the Rebel 1100. It has cruiser styling and good performance, but also offers technology and versatility. Of the three Rebels, the Rebel 1100 concentrates on comfort and convenience, like Honda’s RoadSynch, which offers seamless connectivity.
