HAUGHTON, La. (KSLA) – One person is dead and one is injured after a motorcycle crashed on Sligo Road in Bossier Parish this morning (April 6).
Louisiana State Police responded to a call around 1:00 a.m. where officers found 43-year-old Haughton man, Preston Workman, died after the vehicle went across the centerline, collided with an uneven section of the roadway shoulder, and overturned.
The passenger on the motorcycle was seriously hurt and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police say both people were wearing DOT-approved helmets.
A standard toxicology report was taken for Workman, and the crash remains under investigation.
