The truck will hit the roads on March 29 in North Yorkshire to deliver key road safety messages to motorcyclists and other road users.
It will take part in the Squires Egg Run, a popular ride from Squires Café near Selby to Pickering, which is expected to attract more than 400 motorcyclists.

Inspector Clive Turner of North Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Group said: “The start of the biking season is always an exciting time, but sadly it’s also when we tend to see an increase in serious collisions.
“The digital display truck gives us a new, highly visible way to reach riders with simple but vital safety messages.
“Our aim isn’t to spoil anyone’s fun – it’s to help make sure everyone gets home safely.

“This Sunday’s activity marks the launch of our wider engagement plan with the motorcycle community for the busy summer months ahead.”
The truck and other vehicles will display important reminders about safe riding, pre-ride checks, and the responsibility all road users share in keeping each other safe.
North Yorkshire is bracing for a rise in motorcycle traffic as riders head out to enjoy the county’s 6,000 miles of scenic roads.
The road safety campaign comes as figures highlight the heightened risk faced by motorcyclists.

In 2024, 340 motorcyclists were killed in Great Britain, with a further 5,468 seriously injured and 10,152 slightly injured.
Between 2020 and 2024, 69 per cent of motorcycle fatalities occurred on rural roads.
The day will be staffed by North Yorkshire Police’s dedicated Road Safety Team who are working alongside the biking community to reduce collisions, protect lives, and make North Yorkshire’s roads safer for everyone.
A spokesman for the force said: “This Sunday, our York and North Yorkshire Road Safety partnership trailer, police motorbikes, cars and the new digital display truck will be visible throughout the day.
“If you see us along the route or at any of the stopping points, please come and say hello.
“We’re here to support riders, share advice and help make North Yorkshire’s roads safer for everyone.
“Enjoy the ride, enjoy the scenery, and let’s work together to ensure every rider and every road user gets home safely this weekend and throughout the season.
