
JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County — A local police department here in the east is hosting a free motorcycle safety class starting next week.
JPD has partnered with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program to make this program available for motorcyclists.
Attendees will receive valuable information including assessments on current skills and safety advice from professionals.
The class will be held on Friday, November 8 from 8:45am to 4:00pm at 200 Marine Boulevard in Jacksonville.
All those who register must be insured and possess a legal motorcycle endorsement or learner’s permit.
The deadline to register is Thursday, November 7, 2024.
The Jacksonville Police Department has been a BikeSafe sponsor since 2010 and has four certified instructors that are BikeSafe Assessors.
